The Art of HATCH Show Print at The Austin Museum of Art is wonderful. As a graphic designer - I use that term loosely - this is a walk down Advertising Lane. The posters span half a decade and include not only show posters but straight advertising as well.
But, ad nerd or not this show is really fun. See posters of all sorts of acts from Ernest Tubb to the White Stripes. And for your home, from butter to coffee.
This show is at the Austin Museum of Art at 9th and Congress. Right now they also have movie posters for the SXSW Film Festival. It's well worth trekking downtown and working to snag a parking place.
