I love Malcolm Gladwell-Social Media and Social Change

I'm not even gonna try and describe the article I just read by Malcolm Gladwell. It's titled Small Change: Why the revolution will not be tweeted.

 

I learned a bunch about the 1960's civil rights movement. And in a sense that's just ancillary to the article. In a nutshell Gladwell's point is that large scale "take on the establishment-end segregation-end communism-type protesting can't be organized through social media. Read the article. It's great on so many levels.

 

Side note: It's in the New Yorker. Great magazine. Wonder what will happen to writers like Gladwell when nobody subscribes any more?
