Saturday adventure

.
Richard and I got up, cerealed and hit the road for a morning of Garage Sailing and errands. We didn't find anything too special at garage sails but saw lots of interesting things on our way.

Here's a sampling.

I went to The Tea Embassy downtown to pick up some Earl Grey. This is from their sample bar. I love the little shell.

These are two little bowls of flowers at the Herb Bar on West Mary. The bowls were only about 2.5" across. What a great idea for table decorations.

...and this house was just across the street.

I'm thinking this isn't a south Austin sentiment but who knows.

These wonderful bushes caught my eye. I guess they were keeled over from the giant rainstorm we had.

And finally - this from the courthouse area. The round silver balls are on rotors and go around in circles. I tried to upload a movie but to no avail.

Hope you enjoyed our Saturday morning.
