The "B-Hive" was buzzin' this weekend.

The famous "Weiner Dog Races" were held in Buda this past weekend. Mary, Clare, Lynn and Susan along with Wally the wonderdog and Tater all came for the festivities.

Knowing that 4 women and two dogs might stretch my house a bit they looked on VRBO.com (Vacation Rentals by Owner) and found a wonderful house known as the "B-Hive" just 1/2 a block from the Hyde Park Bar and Grill.

Bookmark its page if you ever have out of town guests you don't know where to house. What a great house. Everything from the 6 pack of Shiner Boch to the feather pillows was wonderful. The claw-foot tub in one of the two bathrooms was the longest tub I've ever seen.

Truly this is a great alternative to a hotel. Especially if you have a bunch of folks coming and they will enjoy having a "home place" when they're in town.
