A Second Blue Moon definition

.
I'm not even going to try and recount this story from SPACE.com written by Joe Rao. Read it to get the full scoop. Suffice it to say while I always thought a "Blue Moon" was the second full moon in a month, Joe's research suggests that there is a definition which supersedes that one. His researches suggest that the original definition identifies the blue moon as the third full moon in any season which has four full moons.     --And it's tonight.

Thanks to Sam for the heads-up.
