Here's my NewsMap! Every time you go to the site the latest headlines from thousands of sources are displayed in a number of choosable categories. Each category is a different color. The saturation of the color tells you how old the headline is.
The popout "How to keep..." was caused when I clicked on one of the headlines. You get a little snippet of an article. If you are further interested you can click on the popout which then opens the actual article in another window. Viola!
It's still in beta and I wish there was a "honing" process to make it more my own. But I'm going to have NewsMap as a home page for a while and test it out. We'll see.
