Christmas Cards-Hazel to the rescue!

.
A while back my wonderful friend Cathy gave me a scale model of a hurricane lantern her mother had collected. I love scale models and this one is great. It's about 3 inches high and is made of metal. It's also red so it's the perfect Christmas decoration.

I decorated my bar for Christmas yesterday and included the lantern, artfully placing one of the Christmas lights behind it. So it looks like the light is shining from it. It's FUN!

I've never been much of a Christmas Card sender. I never seem to get around to it. But this year I'm trying something new.

I've blogged before about HazelMail-but I want to remind you as Hazel is helping me say "Merry Christmas" to friends and family all over the country-Including my friend Cathy.

Here's a picture of the front of her Christmas Postcard. That's her Mom's lantern on the right. Doesn't it look like it has a light in it? And on the back of the card I wrote my Christmas message and Cathy will get the card next week. That easy-and I'm still in my jammies!

So-that's one down, and about 25 to go. I'm inviting (OK- making) Richard get in a picture with me to send to all our friends and family.

Now for the really good part-"Hazel Bucks" cost a dollar and will pay for one postcard-INCLUDING POSTAGE. Right now they're on sale-$36 for 40 bucks/cards. And again - that includes postage.

So, if you're avoiding the arduous task of buying, writing messages, addressing and stamping Christmas Cards, but would like to let special friends know you're thinking of them maybe Hazel is your answer!

Merry Christmas!
---and thanks Hazel!
