Save that box!

I don't know about you, but I have a bunch of empty boxes in my attic. They are a compendium of all the electonics purchases I've made over the past 20 years. Bose speakers, an old MAC, a vcr...

Well, maybe I'm not so silly for keeping them after all.

In 1972, the Procrastinators Club of America sent a letter to the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in London, complaining that the Liberty Bell was cracked.

After an interval, the foundry responded:

“We would be happy to provide a replacement bell. Kindly return the damaged bell to us in its original packaging.”

Great comeback.
