I've been trying to find the best place to jot down grocery needs for years. It came to me the other day that my refrigerator might be just that place.
I did a bit of experimenting and I'm here to report that a dry erase marker wipes right off! I am so jazzed. Here's my current list. You can see a few gaps. Those are places where stuff I've picked up were listed. I just wiped them right off.
I think this might solve my years old problem of how to jot needs down as they come up without ending up with lots of miscellaneous notes. I took this picture with my phone. Now when I go to the store I'll just look at the picture of the list on my phone. How cool is that?
I don't know if all refrigerator surfaces are alike so I suggest you do a test. But I hope this works for you too!

One thing Daisy does is write the shopping list in the order she goes through the store. You could arrange your list in that order, snap a pic on your way out the door, and shop from that. Cool.
ReplyDeleteI've been using my refrigerator as a white board since I posted this. It's working like a top! Now I write stuff down whenever I think of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd as Bruce suggested, I just take a picture as I go out the door and Viola! There's the list.
