A couple of years ago I set out to teach myself geography. I'm happy to say that after about 6 months of toiling away I could accurately pinpoint about 150 countries on the map.
I learned by doing geography games on the net. I was going to embed one of the games here but the sizing isn't right. Follow this link instead.
I also have a nifty shower curtain I bought at Target which gives me extra practice time at least three or four times a day.
