After my Dad retired I swear he tried to go to every national park in the Continental US. I think he pretty much succeeded.
At the tender age of 70 he bought a pop up camper and lived on the road for two years. He wanted to see as much of his adopted country as possible. He did a great job.
Once he decided to move to California he explored their parks as well. I'm posting this picture because it reminds me of him. Except for the Tetons, Yosemite was his favorite. This picture explains why.
My Dad's birthday is April 3rd. So I'll post this in honor of the 93rd anniversary of his birth. Wish he was still here...
