Watching life pass

I just came across two images, one words, one pictures. They struck me as related somehow and I thought I'd share them.

This first admonishes us to pay attention. Live as big as we can. I like the idea but sometimes I just don't really see what I'm looking at. So living out Elanor Roosevelt's admonition is not an easy one.

The photo montage below is an illustrative 40 seconds of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

The contrast of the barrenness of Winter to the verdance of Summer is amazing. But it is really brought home seeing the evolution of a year in under a minute.

Opened my eyes!
