Why I love the Innerweb

...
(Beware, embarrassing confession of stupidity coming up.)

Years ago I got a programmable thermostat for my house. I could not conquer the programming. I set my VCR to record shows all the time. My VCR does not blink for long after the power comes back on. And yet I was bested by the programmable thermostat. So I gave it to my neighbors and got an analog one. Rather than learn the technology I dumped it and went back to a type of thermostat that’s probably been around for 75 years.
In retrospect that seems like a really foolish choice.
I decided a while back to get another programmable thermostat and try again. So once again I have a programmable – digital – blinks when you make a mistake-thermostat.

Since Joe – a kind fellow- installed it I’ve been living with the windows open. Now I need a little heat. Too bad I can’t find the instruction manual.
Now comes where I love the interweb.
Honeywell rth2308 manual pdf. ----Took two clicks.
I love the interweb.
