My friend Bill on his estate

Impressionist Exhibit at the Kimbell in Ft. Worth.

I am most struck by the last sentence in the artist, Caillebotte's biography.

"After this, Caillebotte focused on boating and swimming scenes, often working at his estate near the Yerres River, outside Paris."

My friend Bill. I'm thinking he could say
"often working at his estate near the San Marcos River, Outside Austin."

As they used to say on Johnny Carson -

More to come...

  1. or you could say
"Just twenty miles from the headwaters of the San Marcos River, East of San Antonio where he leads a dilettante's life of labor on his country estate much in the tradition of Thomas Jefferson.
